Storytelling is at the heart of what we do. Creative Liquid is working with the Congressional Medal of Honor Society to document and tell the stories of Medal of Honor recipients. This documentary storytelling projects is titled: Living History.
Medal of Honor
The Medal of Honor is the United States' highest military award for valor. The Society’s membership is comprised of those who wear the Medal of Honor, the United States’ highest military award for valor. Through the Society's Outreach, Education and History initiatives, the Medal of Honor Recipients continue their service across the nation.
Documentary Storytelling
Each Living History is a short documentary based on interviews with recipients and family members. Archival footage, re-enactment animations and photographs are used to assist in the storytelling. Our team works closely with the Society's archivist to create each story. We capture interviews with the Medal of Honor recipients and let them tell their story in their own words.
Video editing, sound design and motion graphics are created at Creative Liquid's office in Alexandria, Virginia. The videos are distributed on each recipients profile on the Congressional Medal of Honor Society's website.
This video was produced in 4K UltraHD and was recorded on Creative Liquid's Sony FX9 and FX3 cinema cameras.
