10 GbE

10 GbE or 10 Gigabit Ethernet refers to the technology standard used to connect servers and computers to a network, which is capable of speeds of up to 10 Gigabits per second (1.25GB per second). This high-speed network allows for the use of networked storage in a video editing environment, allowing video editors to collaborate on projects, and make use of high performance, redundant storage solutions.
