ITI approached our team with a challenge to develop a short video outlining the organizations 2020 legislative platform to key decision makers, lawmakers, candidates and their member organizations. This project included developing the script, storyboard, and casting.
Association Trends, Salute to Excellence, is an annual award honoring the brightest stars of the association community. Known as the industry event to attend, the awards luncheon draws a crowd of over 500 leading association professionals each year. 
I was recently asked to define "high-quality video" and it got me thinking: Shouldn't all video be quality video? Do you need the qualifier high? Regardless there are some ways to define quality or high-quality video.
There’s a long standing joke in filmmaking: “We’ll fix it in post.” It’s a cringeworthy phrase that you’ll hear on set when a crew runs into frustrations with lighting or audio or an interview subject. It basically means, “we’ll fix it after the fact,” or, “we’ll find the story we need in the editing room.” Nobody wants to “fix it in post,” especially not your editor. Say that phrase near an editing suite and watch your editor’s eyes glaze over as they imagine 100 different ways they’d like to throttle the video crew.
You may have noticed a slight change to the logo on our website. Since we started this adventure in 2006, we've always been known as Creative Liquid Productions. In 2015, we added web services to our capabilities and now work on a variety of digital marketing projects. As part of our new office move we decided to make a small branding update. 
Our blog has been quiet this past summer and with good reason, we'e been busy!  2016 has been a fantastic year of telling stories and working on some incredible projects.
Ten Years Ten years ago today, February 10, 2006, Creative Liquid Productions was born.  At the time, my goal was to start a creative firm that got me out of the newsroom and back in the field.
Back in January we completed a total rebuild of our IT infrastructure.  At the same time we also rebuilt one of our edits suites and implemented new archiving procedures.  I thought I'd take a few minutes to go through what we did and what we learned from the experience.
